Musée de l’Histoire et des Traditions :
Discover Bellevaux past and present through documents, historical costumes and everyday objects from days gone by.
Located next to the Tourist Office, the museum is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Also open for theme evenings in July and August, 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Admission :
adults 3 €, children (4 to 16 years) 2 € ; Groups (guided tours, 10 people minimum): adults 2.50 €, children 1.50 €
Groups welcome all year with advanced booking.
Annual closure: October to December except school holidays.

Nordic Park and its sled dogs :
A paper chase will reveal what the dogs do, how the pack lives and what breeds the dogs are. Of course, you can also brush and pat them. Open Wednesdays in July and August.

Musée de la Faune :


See more than 140 animals from our mountains in a recreated natural environment. Located on the village square, the museum is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Also open Mondays during school holidays, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. only.
Groups welcome all year with advanced booking.
Admission : adults 3 €, children (4 to 16 years) 2 €; Groups (guided tours, 10 people minimum): adults 2.50 €, children 1.50 €

Touring the mills in the Brevon Valley
Weekly guided tour (Thursday evenings, July and August) of Anatole’s Mill in Lullin to see a magnificent, authentically rustic setting with an oil mill, sawmill and water-operated micro-power station. Léré Mill in Vailly is a renovated flourmill and is also water-powered.

Guided tours of this superb Sardinian-style neo-Classical church on Tuesdays in July and August.

Guided tour of Lake Vallon :
Hear the history of the lake and the story of the Carthusian monks !
Close by, in a majestic natural setting, are St. Bruno’s Chapel, the Diomaz Waterfall, and the Carthusians’ Cross and “stockpots”.
Tours available in July and August.

Guided tour of Le Petit Mont farm :
Rébecca and Jean-Yves let you into the secrets of cheese-making and explain what’s wrong with restricting yourself to one taste rather than testing, tasting and developing your tastebuds.
They invite visitors to the “Milk to Cheese” workshops including a farm snack. Advanced booking required. Workshops run Mondays to Fridays from 4 p.m. during school holidays.

A trip to Carthusian country :
The Brevon Valley reveals its secrets and the mysteries of its sunken hamlet. A coach trip lasting 2½ hours with an oddball straight out of another age who, as your guide, will recount local history with plenty of fun and enthusiasm. The tour ends with a snack prepared by Rébecca at the Le Petit Mont farm.For children, a visit to the Musée de la Faune (animal museum) and the Le Petit Mont farm is arranged, meeting up with parents again at the farm.
